Colin Ming's Birthday

Postby Lisa Copland » Mon Dec 05, 2005 12:14 am

Hey Don:

How much money did Colin pay you to list him as being born in '65?

I'm just wondering if I can afford to have my age lowered a little too!

You don't have to lower your age, just be more creative in disclosing it, e.g. I tell people, I'm a "few" months past my 40th birthday.

I just don't tell them a "few" = 363 ;)

I was scratching my head too

I've looked in the birthday listings bunches of times and tried to figure that one out. For a while I actually thought Colin was only 3 years older than me and went looking in the infamous yearbooks... obviously he wasn't there. Then some other postings and references he's made have shown the 65 might be closer to his age than his birth.

LOL, I guess when you're the keeper of the list you can call yourself whatever you like!

Kim,

Actually Don is "keeper" of that list, but maybe Colin's paying him.

:D
Yes, I am the keeper of the Birthdaze and it was decided way back when, that you could , but did not have to give the year, I guess Colin decided he liked '65 and after the last time editing something I have learned.
Kim, I tell you this much, Colin went to school at the same time as my older brother, in the early 60s, and my brother just turned 59 last week, he was born in 1946.
I do not know for sure, but I would suspect Colin was born around then as well.

Don

Not quite correct.

If I wrote the date as '65 it would be nice but a typo. I'm 60 on the 28 of this month, and was born in 45.

But thanks for thinking of me as only 29.

Cheers Colin.

Colin, I am known for typos, perhaps it was me, is it OK to correct it in the Birtdae List?

Sorry I outed you!

Hope you aren't mad :D !

I wouldn't let him change it if it were me. I'd be pretty happy to shave a few years off!

Not a problem, I seldom get mad :)

I feel like 29 anyway, well most of the time.

Colin.
