Al was a strong supporter of GTOL, and was our technical resource for some time. Although he cultivated a curmudgeonly image, in fact he was a friendly, helpful guy. And he put up with a lot of teasing here, which he took in good part.

I've just heard that Upside-down Al passed away in Sydney Australia, of a stroke.
Al was a strong supporter of GTOL, and was our technical resource for some time. Although he cultivated a curmudgeonly image, in fact he was a friendly, helpful guy. And he put up with a lot of teasing here, which he took in good part.

Old as dirt. Sad to hear. Hopefully a life well lived. I sure do miss those days.
