So true, Don.
But when we were younger..... a guy was always more interested in giving a girl a past, instead of a present.

"happy birthday from my heart... hope it's a good one you old ph...."

Thank you for the sentiments and wishes, Twisted (or is it Demented?) Sister #1. However, the event is so far back that I have just the faintest memories of it.

And not to look a gift horse in the mouth, so to speak, (no pun intended, at this time) but in your little poem/song, above.... as charming as the thot is, if it was your intention to have the lines rhyme, it fell short:
"Heart" doesn't really rhyme with "philanthropist". But that doesn't matter...
At least in English. (Maybe in WeLsh though)
Or as they say in Wales: Naddoleg llawen y bleddyn Newedd dda

The Prevaricating B*gg*r finally came clean, so no more free-floating B'day wishes. We missed it this year. But next year........
